The Hotel Inspector

Jason and I were lucky enough to be invited as guests to stay at Langtry's Hotel during the filming of The Hotel Inspector we appeared if only fleetingly checking in and then eating breakfast.

Julie & David run a superb establishment, the rooms are quite beautiful and the bathrooms are superb, they were awarded 5 stars by the undercover real life inspector, very well deserved they are too.

Blackpool Themed Summer Ball at Weeton Army Barracks

We created a colourful "Summer Holiday" feel in the Marquee at Weeton Barracks. The flowers included lots of brightly coloured Gerberas and Germinis, with fabulous bright purple Gladioli, Antirhinnums, Dahlias and Achillea

The Lollipops and sticks of Blackpool Rock were sourced from Jeff at Stanton Confectionary

The Marquee was by Ken from CK Marquees

Red Carnation & Gypsophilia Wedding Bouquets

This is Carol's wedding bouquet and her Bridesmaid's Bouquet of all red carnations enveloped in a cloud of fresh gypsophilia

We put tiny seed pearl pisn in some of the carnations

And finished the handle with white satin Ribbon

The buttonholes were red carnations and we also made a wrist corsage on a pearl bracelet to co-ordibate

Dan Kerr Bridal's Open Evening in Blackpool

Dan Kerr Bridal on Church street held a fabulous event last week for all of their future brides, they showed their 2010 collections which were utterly fabulous.

We designed fresh bridal bouquets for the gorgeous models to hold

This is a beautiful wedding bouquet in a cascade style with white Orchids.

The event was huge success, every credit to Stephanie, Sheree and the team at Dan Kerr for holding such a fab evening

Blackpool Bears Fundraising Demonstration

The NSPCC committee asked to do a fresh flower demonstration to raise money for The Blackpool Bears, this is a charity that aims to help children with disabilities to participate in sports on The Fylde Coast.

The particular goal was to raise enough money to provide a specially modified bike, this was achieved and more in fact over £2000.00 was raised.

The event was held at The Grand Hotel in St Annes


We created four designs all of which complete with beautiful containers were raffled, thank you so much for your generosity

This design prepared by Emma was the most popular, floral cup cakes are of course a lot less fattening than the real thing.
