Mother’s Day Competition 2009

Draw and colour-in a fabulous Bouquet for your Mum or Special Person
We are looking for designs that would make the person who recieves them smile!

Winners from each of our nominated Junior Schools and an additional winner from those entries handed into Kathleen's Florist or Flower Design will win their design created in real flowers to be collected from Kathleen's Florist or Flower Design on Saturday 21 March 2009

The winners will be photographed (with parental consent) with their magnificent drawing and flowers, these photographs will be available to download directly from our blog on Mothering Sunday 22nd March 2009.

We wish you all the very best of luck and we hope to find some "Budding" Flower Designers amongst you!
Please return your entries to your school teacher or directly to Kathleen's Florist by 5:30pm on 16th March 2009

5. Judges decision is final.

Blackpool Civic Trust Annual Dinner

We were very honoured to be invited to Blackpool's Civic Trust Annual Dinner at The White Tower. The Dynamic Chairman Elaine Smith who is a great friend of ours and gave the most inspiring speech about "Floral Blackpool" we'd really love to be involved with this it sounds amazing. Elaine is such a superb speaker that the room was totally mesmerized.
Jeanette was the very lucky winner of a huge bouquet of flowers and the table flowers, How lucky was she?

The Bride carries a gorgeous bouquet of Broom, Tulips, Vanda Orchids, Calla Lilies and Sweet Peas.

The tables were dressed with an array of spring blooms, from Muscari tucked into the napins to a stupendous display on the top table.
